Hi, I’m Charlotte Rose Beers—a young mum, photography enthusiast, and passionate curator dedicated to giving women a platform to shine, especially in film photography. There's something magical about its timeless quality and the intentionality it requires, which has always inspired me.

The spark for Her Exposure ignited in early 2024 during a trip to Japan with my partner and our 9-month-old. Immersed in the vibrant photography scene, I couldn’t ignore how male-dominated the industry still feels, even in an era striving for inclusivity and equality.

What began as a vision to spotlight talented women across Australia quickly evolved into something bigger. As women from around the world connected with the idea, I realised this wasn’t just a national conversation—it’s a global movement waiting to flourish.

It’s a space for collaboration, community, and creativity—designed to connect and uplift women artists from all walks of life.

Her Exposure exists to provide a safe, inclusive space for women to share their art and stories, whether they’re seasoned pros or taking their first steps behind the lens. My mission is to foster connections—online and in person—that inspire collaboration and growth.

Looking ahead, I see Her Exposure blossoming into a series of global exhibitions, amplifying the voices of women photographers and artists everywhere. Together, we’re building a community that celebrates and supports female artistry—because the world is ready to see what we can create.
